I heard that ACE3 is supposed to be out in November of 2014. Any thoughts?

Frankly I don't like anything about ARMA 3 except for the underwater stuff and the new stances. Nothing else is really superior to A2 and I feel like we're just trying to make A3 more like A2 so we might as well just play the older and in my opinion better game. Also I get very bad FPS in arma3

I agree the underwater is awesome! But I also like the new flight characteristics, since they modeled them after Take On Helicopters game. I have thousands of hours on many different types of simulators and I can tell you in AmrA 3, those are proper flight characteristics! Hell you even have gyro drift!

You can use AiA mod on arma 3 and use the current arma 2 ace of course it will have lots of bugs, or you can use some mods that do the same like ace but they are not ace.

Rather than having to deal with all the bugs, and risk screwing up my copy of arma 3. I would rather wait for ACE to come out for it, although I did not know AiA was available for ArmA 3.

CzCn ArmA is using ArmA 2 until the end of this year AT LEAST. ArmA 3 is almost a step back when it comes to gameplay, hopefully by 2015 it has been revamped..

"The RCAF is looking to replace the CH-146 Griffon (UH-1Y Venom) in the near future. " The UH-1Y Venom is a completely different bird than the CH-146 Griffon. The Griff is simply a Bell 412EP with a couple of military modifications dude. The UH-1Y Venom is her own bird with a completely different engine, (General Electric T700) with a faster over all speed, new tail rotor and avionics sweet, plus the Venom can carry much more of a weapons array than the Griff.

Why not purchase a factory license for the mi24 hind. It outperforms each of these pretenders in almost every specification, is the most heavily armored aircraft in history with exception to its replacement. Can function as an attack helicopter. Utilize it to rebuild our aviation industry. Utilize the experience gained in the development of this production line to create an attack specific and transport specific helicopter for a fraction of the cost of western helicopters. What is missing here is that Canada has already purchased Russian helicopters for use in Afghanistan and currently carries them in our inventory.

The CH-146 is NOT the UH-1Y, it is the Bell 412 which does not have the same engines as the UH-1Y. The UH-1Y has mid-generation UH-60 engines, whereas the 146/412 has less powerful ones. It would be nice to see the CH-146, which is pushing 25 years old, be replaced by UH-1Y which will allow seamless training and maintenance to the new type. Bell for Bell... I have a soft spot for the UH-1, but the UH-1Y is nearly as capable as the current run of UH-60 variants armorwise, enginewise, and speedwise, and also avoinicswise.
